Paul Vogel oversees Rust’s finance, accounting, bank and tax staff. Vogel’s responsibilities include not only ensuring the organization has appropriate controls in place and produces accurate financial information, but also providing oversight for the investment activities for over 400 active settlements with more than $2 billion currently under management.
Vogel has over 20 years of diverse financial leadership experience in both public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and within private enterprises ranging from rapid growth startups to national organizations with revenues in excess of $150 million. Vogel has extensive mergers and acquisition experience, including two initial public offerings and several acquisitions of organizations where he led due diligence efforts and the ensuing integration, as well as the ongoing responsibility for the accounting and finance functions of the acquired companies. Vogel has significant experience working with lenders in placement of both public and private debt, assisting in analysis and negotiation of debt covenants and financing terms consistent with corporate strategic plans, in addition to assisting with the financial structure for all acquisitions and private/public debt placements.
Vogel, his wife and children reside in Maple Grove, Minnesota, where they are active in their community, school and church.
