Galen Vetter is the president of Rust Consulting and leads all of Rust’s offices in Minnesota, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, California, Washington and Washington, D.C. He is responsible for developing and implementing strategies targeted at delivering best-in-class service to clients.
Vetter has diverse management experience including financial, analytical, information management, strategy and team development. Vetter took over as president in 2008.
Prior to joining Rust, Vetter was chief financial officer and senior vice president at Franklin Templeton. Prior to that, Vetter held positions at RSM McGladrey, Inc., including partner in-charge of the upper Midwest region, executive partner of information technology and partner in the national office of accounting and auditing. Vetter is a member of the board of directors of Land O'Lakes, Inc.
Vetter and his wife have two sons, a daughter, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law and three grandchildren. Vetter and his family enjoy biking, boating, skiing, hiking and travelling.
