Kaufman specializes in pre-settlement consultation, enabling clients to better identify their needs and more efficiently and cost-effectively execute settlements. Well-versed in all aspects of the class action settlement process, he is adept at guiding clients from start (class noticing) to finish (settlement disbursements and tax reporting).
Kaufman’s extensive consulting experience and specialization in the legal market has contributed to his participation in many high-profile and large-volume class action settlements, including General Motors and Royal Dutch Shell. Before joining Rust, Kaufman participated in multiple levels of legal sales and administration at Epiq Systems and LexisNexis.
