Daniel Marotto focuses on Rust’s consumer, securities and Securities and Exchange Commission practice areas, manages Rust’s San Francisco office and supports clients located on the west coast.
Prior to joining Rust, Marotto spent three years as general manager for a claims administrator that specialized in securities class action administration where he provided oversight on numerous complex settlements. Additionally, he administered several of the initial Fair Fund matters. Prior to that, Marotto served for six years as a CFO with operational responsibility in northern California for a LVMH company where he was responsible for information technology, human resources, accounting, client service, financial analysis and strategic planning. He also spent five years with a Big Four accounting and consulting firm managing tax, business advisory and business process evaluation and re-engineering engagements.
Marotto, his wife and their two children live in the San Francisco Bay area. They are active in school and various philanthropies.
