Dr. Wheatman’s Analysis Cited by Corporate Counsel

A recent article posted in Corporate Counsel ("Making Your Privacy Policy Comprehensive and Comprehensible") cites the recent analysis by Kinsella Media’s Shannon Wheatman, Ph.D., on the privacy policies of Fortune 100 companies. Dr. Wheatman’s results showed that, on average, the reading level of these privacy policies was well beyond the average reader’s level of comprehension.

The article, by Paul Bond and Chris Cwalina of Reed Smith, offers tips on making companies’ privacy policies more understandable to readers.
